What is 20/20Proof?
20/20Proof was formed by yours truly, Peter Divito, in 2003. It originated as a small underground music zine based in Pittsburgh. The concept of the magazine began as twenty individuals doing lists of 20 based on a topic they chose or assigned by me. That concept was thrown out the window in issue 4 and limited to myself and a guest doing a top 20 list. For issue 4, J Zone stepped in as a guest writer to tackle “Top 20 Underrated Hip Hop Albums.” 20/20Proof will now be me blogging about hip hop and other various topics while putting out the occasional print article.

Who did what?
I wrote the majority of the magazine myself and continue to do so. My staff has come and go with the exception of Brian Seanor. Other notable contributors have been J Zone, Byron Crawford, and my mother.

What kind of music did you feature?
I have done interviews with Prince Po, Sean Price, J Zone, Sadat X, Wiz Khalifa, Northern State, Joseph Arthur, TV On The Radio, Mommy and Daddy, The Unicorns, Joan Wasser, The Fiery Furnaces, Xiu Xiu, The Organ, CocoRosie, The Long Winters, Angela Shelton, Murder By Death and more.

What else?
I have been covered in the Pittsburgh City Paper and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. I also had an article published in Venus Magazine in the spring of 06. In 2005 I released a compilation of Pittsburgh music to good reviews and poor sales.
